  • Uptown Columbus Market Days on Broadway returns on Saturday, April 4 and runs every Saturday through the end of August from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. along the 1000–1200 blocks of Broadway and 12th Street; vendor applications are now open for makers offering handmade and homegrown goods.  Columbus CEO

  • AAA reported that Georgia gas prices remained at $2.66 per gallon as of Monday, meaning Columbus-area drivers may pay about $39.90 for a typical 15-gallon fill-up, though prices may vary day-to-day.  Columbus CEO

  • Columbus State University's annual Legacy Celebration banquet is set for March 25 at the Cunningham Center + will feature keynote speaker T. Dallas Smith and honor twelve campus and community leaders, with nominations open until Feb. 20 and tickets on sale until March 6.  Columbus CEO
  • Students in the Cybersecurity Nexus Program at Columbus State University have built technical skills and professional confidence to earn quick job offers + launch promising cybersecurity careers.   • Local meteorologists in Columbus are using a new mapping tool to predict potential flooding from heavy rains. The system will help officials monitor rising water levels & prepare the community during storm events.  WSB-TV
  • Keep Columbus Beautiful invites residents to join the 49th Annual Arbor Day Celebration on Saturday, Feb. 21 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Chattahoochee Promenade (next to Coca-Cola SpaceScience Center).
