CRIME NEWS
- ➤ A Columbus murder suspect, 49-year-old David Harrison, was arrested Tuesday in LaGrange after officers found drugs—20 grams of crack and 7 ounces of marijuana—and two guns at a house while he was on bond for a murder and assault case. WTVM
- ➤ The Columbus Police are investigating a shooting on Woodruff Farm Rd that left two people dead just before 5:50 p.m. + the Violent Crimes Unit is leading the probe with no arrests made so far. WTVM

- ➤ Students at Columbus State University use The Arden to showcase their creative writing talents with support from faculty+Professor Lamb. - ➤ Daniel Wyatt from the UGA Institute of Government found that flooding at Lawson Army Airfield made Laundry Creek a hazard and worked with UGA engineers to plan a restoration that saves money—efforts that support military readiness at Fort Moore.
