  • Columbus police are asking for tips after a suspect robbed a Shell gas station near 2218 Victory Drive on March 12th—he is described as a dangerous Black male about 5—10 in height wearing black clothing, a ski mask and white shoes who fled on foot with cash.  WTVM

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Severe weather is expected to hit Columbus Saturday night through early Sunday with strong winds over 30 mph, possible tornadoes, large hail, and the chance of localized flooding near Chambers County — residents should review their family emergency plans and keep their warning devices charged. Forecasts show a mix of sun and clouds that may fuel these storms, so people are urged to prepare ahead of time.  WTVM
