- ➤ Families have several Easter events this week in the Chattahoochee Valley — in Columbus, Highside Market offers an Easter Bunny Hunt on Mar. 28 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and GS Mark AME hosts a community egg hunt on Mar. 29. WTVM
- ➤ Uptown Columbus will host spring events starting Friday with market days on Broadway, food trucks arriving early next week, and Friday night concerts on April 3 (funded by local donations). Columbus CEO
- ➤ DISH customers can help return local station WTVM to DISH by calling 833-2-KEEPUS. The station has been off the lineup for nearly two weeks, leaving viewers without shows like American Idol and Good Morning America. WTVM

- ➤ Three road projects on Buena Vista Road have led to local business relocations as a $47 million bridge widening project underway since 2020 and a new bridge to ease congestion continue to disrupt the area — weather delays have pushed planned completion beyond initial estimates. WTVM

- ➤ Uptown Columbus’s 15th annual Spring Food Truck Festival is set for Saturday, Mar. 28 at Woodruff Park; the event runs from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and features over 25 vendors with a $5 entry for those 11 and up + it will use a cashless payment system. WTVM

- ➤ Rising gas prices from oil shipping disruptions have led Columbus drivers to adjust their habits, while an Auburn economist (who urged calm) said the economy will bounce back. Residents are advised to keep an eye on fuel costs as the situation evolves. WTVM
- ➤ Gas prices have dropped slightly since the state suspended the gas tax on Friday. Officials (from state sources) say it will take a few days for the full impact to be seen. WSB-TV
