- ➤ Uptown Columbus will host its 15th annual food truck festival today and Sunday (11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.), featuring over 30 food trucks, live music, and kids’ activities. Tickets cost $5 with free entry for children 10 and under, and proceeds fund future free events. WTVM

- ➤ A national study ranks Georgia as the 5th safest school bus environment using federal data from 2019 to 2023; the report shows that 843,000 students ride daily with a low risk score of 8 (thanks to strong infrastructure and fewer crashes than neighboring states). Columbus CEO
- ➤ On Match Day 2026, Piedmont welcomed 73 new medical graduates into residency programs at Athens Regional, Columbus Regional, and Macon Medical Center with training starting this summer.
