CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Columbus Police are searching for 29-year-old Adrian Davis and 30-year-old Shakella McKay for a shooting on March 23 in a parking lot near Aldi and AutoZone on the 3200 block of Macon Road — authorities identified Davis as the shooter and McKay as the driver and warn that both are armed and dangerous. - ➤ In January a shooting in Phenix City left Hernandis Harmon dead and on March 28 brothers Rufus Alston and Douglas Armour were arrested in Columbus on capital murder and additional charges—Alston had a modified Glock and Armour an AK-47—and are held at Muscogee County Jail. WTVM

- ➤ Today, Columbus hosted an art exchange when CIRCLE organized a reception featuring student artists from Kiryu, Japan and Spencer High School swapping artwork with local officials and community members in attendance—reinforcing international ties. The event marks the program’s return after the pandemic and may lead to future opportunities for Muscogee County students to visit Japan. News 3
