- ➤ Columbus police are still seeking witnesses in connection with the shooting death of 17-year-old Bryson Cochran, who was fatally shot after an after-prom party on April 7, 2024—with a $5,000 reward offered for information that leads to an arrest. News 3

- ➤ Goodwill and Girls Inc. will host a hiring event on Friday, April 11 from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Girls Inc. of Columbus - 3535 Levy Road to connect local job seekers with over 1,000 full-time and part-time positions from employers such as Georgia Department of Corrections, Better Work Columbus, and Miller-Motte College. - ➤ GSO announced the $8.5 million John Lewis Legacy Scholarships—a program that will grant 141 orthodontic residents awards over 12 years starting in August with three initial recipients.
