GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ City councilors who had voted against the $50 million baseball plan toured the new Synovus Park on Friday and said the ballpark looked great ahead of the Columbus Clingstones’ home opener. The game will be held Tuesday night at 7:05 p.m., and Mayor Skip Henderson will ask the council to vote on plans for private work on the land and parking lot—an effort to add value to the project.
