- ➤ Nine Bulldogs were drafted as the NFL Draft wrapped up this weekend, with the San Francisco 49ers selecting Columbus native Mykel Williams with the 11th pick, the Atlanta Falcons choosing linebacker Jalon Walker, and the Baltimore Ravens picking Jackson County native Malaki Starks + additional Bulldogs were selected by the Detroit Lions, Cincinnati Bengals, New England Patriots, New York Jets, Carolina Panthers and Minnesota Vikings. None of the drafted Bulldogs ended up on the same team. WSB-TV
