- ➤ Liberty Bell Pool at FDR State Park in Pine Mountain will open on Saturday, May 24 for Memorial Day weekend — the largest spring-fed pool holds 500,000 gallons of cool water and features unique Hollis Quartzite Fieldstone. It will operate from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, with a $7 admission fee ($5 for seniors and $3 for kids under three) and closes on Mondays and Tuesdays except on holidays. - ➤ The Columbus Police Department is searching for 17-year-old Harley Whitley, last seen wearing blue jeans, a black jacket, and white, green and black sneakers in the 2300 block of South Lumpkin Road at 5:30 a.m. on May 17—he weighs about 150 pounds and stands 5′9—and asks anyone with information to call 911 or contact the CPD Special Victims Unit. - ➤ Columbus Police are searching for 15-year-old Camorie McBride—she was last seen on May 16 at 10:00 p.m. near the 4000 block of Athens Court wearing a black t-shirt and light blue jeans. News 3

- ➤ Columbus State University’s Bo Bartlett Center will host the American Legend exhibition featuring rare photos from astronaut David Scott from June 3 through Aug. 2 — the free exhibit is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Columbus State University

- ➤ Goodwill of the Southern Rivers will host a multi-employer hiring event and resource fair on May 22 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Columbus Convention & Trade Center at 801 Front Avenue, where over 1,000 job opportunities and free career-readiness support will be available to local job seekers. WTVM
