- ➤ Graduation ceremonies for 2026 have been announced for local high schools including Jordan, Carver, Hardaway, Kendrick and Columbus High. Schools will share more details as they plan to celebrate students’ achievements. WTVM
- ➤ Carver High School held its 2026 graduation ceremony, marking the completion of academic requirements for its graduates + a milestone for families. School officials noted that the event celebrated student achievements and set the stage for future academic opportunities. WTVM

- ➤ Pine Mountain Mayor Mary Ruth Mullins will lead a weekly walking program called Walk with the Mayor starting Monday, June 8, at 8 a.m. at the Visitor Center (101 Broad Street) so residents can exercise and share ideas. WTVM
