ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Phenix City Police and Fire and Rescue responded to an apparent fatal crash on US 80 near Summerville Road and US 280 Eastbound early Monday morning—one lane was open and drivers were urged to avoid the area. News 3

- ➤ On Friday, June 14, the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office arrested three individuals and seized $42,500 worth of drugs during a search in Muscogee County — authorities say more arrests may follow. News 3
- ➤ Charges against former Columbus Finance Department employee Yvonne Ivey were dropped Monday after a 16‐month investigation — the statute of limitations had expired on the two simple battery charges she faced, and Prosecutor Wayne Jernigan said a related charge against Finance Director Angelica Alexander remains pending.
