Sigma Stretch Film of Georgia will invest $39M in Columbus by expanding a 75,000-square-foot facility and building a new 75,000-square-foot warehouse—this expansion will create 100 new full-time jobs across manufacturing, maintenance, quality assurance, logistics, and administration. The company will break ground in late July and start hiring early next year.

Today, Piedmont Healthcare opened its first QuickCare clinic in Columbus inside Walmart on Whittlesey Boulevard at Columbus Park Crossing—offering walk-in and scheduled care for minor illnesses, injuries and wellness needs—and the clinic will operate Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on weekends from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
