Columbus Fire & EMS are assisting Feeding the Valley in a virtual food drive that gathers food donations online to support local families.
Community members are encouraged to donate non-perishable items as part of this ongoing effort.
The free We Care Vet Fair is held at the Columbus Civic Center today and Friday, offering more than 100 service providers to help veterans, active service members, and families with claims support, health screenings, food trucks, and a kids’ zone (bring your military medical records for claims).

Spencer High School Band will host Wave Fest on Friday at the school to offer community members live music and family-friendly activities.

Piedmont Columbus Regional held its Promise 360 Annual Awards celebration on Wednesday, July 22nd, naming respiratory therapist Chasity Traywick and licensed practical nurse Nicole Lacey as annual champions; they advance as nominees for the President’s Award later this year + seven employees were honored for decades of service.
