CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Police responded to an early Tuesday morning shooting in the 6100 block of Stone Way Drive in Columbus and found 21-year-old Hernandez Hubbard II, who was shot in the head and later pronounced dead at Grady Hospital—detectives are asking anyone who was near Warm Springs Road between 5:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. to call 911 or Sgt. - ➤ Muscogee County School District will install weapon detection systems—costing $884,000—at every middle and high school and athletic facility before the end of September.
