Stuff the Bus 2026 is a local school supply drive that will soon collect essentials to help students prepare for the new school year — the community event aims to support classrooms with the needed resources.

The Georgia Department of Labor reported that the Columbus metro reached a 4.2% unemployment rate in June—a four-tenths point rise from last month as the labor force grew to 131,004 and jobs adjusted slightly, with 125,444 employed residents recorded during the period.
