AAA officials said Georgia drivers now see a drop to $3.78 per gallon for regular gas as prices fell 3 cents since last week — they warned that high crude oil costs and uncertainty may soon push prices up.
🏛️ Government
Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tyler J Harper announced that the GDA adopted the EPA’s National Fuel Waiver on August 20 to ease fuel supply issues and lower gas prices.
The agency will apply temporary flexibility on ethanol blending & volatility standards through Sept. 15 while maintaining strict quality controls.

Phenix City's 12-U All-Star team returned home today after a historic run in the Little League World Series—the first for an Alabama team in 27 years.
A welcome celebration took place at Idle Hour Baseball Field at 6 p.m. with local leaders and families praising their achievement.
