ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Investigators Timothy Darden and Maximus Raniero and Corporal Colby Saunders were named First Friday Heroes after they helped rescue occupants from an SUV rollover on Sept. 5 at a convenience store on Whitesville Road—pushing the vehicle upright with citizens—and ensuring EMS attended quickly to the driver who suffered a panic attack. - ➤ FBI Atlanta is offering a reward of up to $15,000 for tips that lead to the arrest and conviction of two unknown suspects who killed Amit Patel when he was shot outside a bank on Buena Vista Road in Columbus in 2021. News 3
- ➤ Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office identified 34-year-old Christian Cruz-Benitez—the suspect behind bomb threats at a construction site near the city government center on Sept 4—and arrested him, charging him with a felony count of terroristic threats. News 3
