- ➤ Community members and families gathered at Synovus Park on Saturday morning for the annual Buddy Walk to mark Down syndrome awareness during Down Syndrome Awareness Month—attendees danced, walked around the baseball field, and helped raise funds to support families. The Down Syndrome Association of Greater Columbus hosted the event with support from the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office and special guests including Ms. Georgia, USA World 2025 Quadasia Love and Clingstones’ mascot Fuzzy.
