On Saturday, church groups and local organizations from Columbus, Phenix City, and Fort Benning held their third annual prayer walk starting at the Russell County Courthouse and ending in Phenix City as they prayed for city healing—over 200 people participated.

Rachelle Williams, who came from the Philippines, opened Bella’s CAKEtering Filipino Cuisine and Bakeshop with her husband after her food truck grew popular for Filipino-American food.

Filipino-American Heritage Month inspires her and others like Filberto’s as they bring home-style dishes to Columbus.
