HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Neutrogena is recalling 1,312 cases of Ultra-Soft Cleansing Towelettes (lot 1835U6325A) sold in Texas, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida after the FDA found the wipes tested positive for Pluralibacter gergoviae, a bacteria that can cause serious infections in vulnerable people. The recalled items were distributed on Sept. 19 and consumers are advised to check the lot number and return the product for a refund. WTVM
- ➤ Columbus health officials urge residents to get a flu shot as cooler weather arrives — Pam Kirkland from West Central Health District said the CDC recommends the vaccine for everyone over six months because it takes about two weeks to build protection; flu shots are available at county health departments as more people will be indoors during the holidays.
