  • Former UGA and NFL star Jordan Jenkins helped veterans by donating houses to Plummer Home in Columbus — a ribbon-cutting event held over the weekend showed the fully furnished transitional homes will support veterans getting back on their feet.  WTVM

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Georgia Forestry Foundation, USDA Forest Service and Softwood Lumber Board awarded $75,000 to three mass timber projects that will showcase sustainable building designs.
