Habitat for Humanity started building seven affordable homes for low-income families in the Nueva Valley Subdivision on Dorsey Drive and Pine Valley Drive when volunteers from AFS Foundation & Waterproofing Specialists worked on the foundation phase on Friday.

Each 1,300-square-foot home will be sold based on income and allows buyers to choose features that suit their needs.
